What to Expect when you receive an Akashic Records Reading
Lately I’ve been having conversations with my friends and mentors alike, and one of the things they ask me: Who is your Ideal Client? Who do you want to serve?
And my first reaction was: Everyone! I know that sounds too simplistic and naive, but hear me out. Anyone can benefit from an Akashic Records Reading, you don’t have to be spiritual, or psychic or have previous experience receiving any kind of intuitive, psychic reading to benefit from a session. I believe it’s easier to read for people who already have a spiritual practice, or they are already very in tune with themselves. But I was telling my friends, it’s the people who are just starting out, stuck, frozen, but don’t know whether they should receive a reading, are the people who may need it the most!
One hold-up I encounter myself is when I perform Akashic Records Readings for other people, I don’t know what I’m going to find in their records and I don’t know how the client will feel about the information that I find and how they will react when I report it to them. As I’ve shared before, the Akashic Records contains Past, Present & Future Possibilities, across all dimensions. It’s like Google or ChatGPT is this man-made consortium of knowledge right, but imagine a version of it that’s simply: Infinite. The mysteries of the entire universe, it’s infinity times infinity, and it’s not meant to be contained in a server, and it cannot be preserved or recalled, just through just one person, or one guru or ascended master.
My friend suggested this visual: this is reality as we know it, and this is where we go in the Akashic Records.

So… the first thing you have to be ready for, is suspending your belief about reality and what you think you know about Our World. It’s not that different in a sense, like going to a movie theater. You go watch Kungfu Panda, and all the animals are talking, and there’s a panda eating dumplings and a warrior mantis called Master Mantis. By default, you are entering another world. Sometimes the information that pop up in the Akashic Records can feel a little out there - even for me! One question I got was “Mermaids are real?” “Mantis Souls are real?” Look I don’t know everything, I can’t possibly know everything - do I remember meeting a Master Mantis? Not in my lifetime, but I can imagine a reality where Master Mantis exist. This is why we need to enter the Akashic Records with an open mind!
“So then how do I know what you’re telling me is real or just made up?” Well, firstly, I don’t make it up. I am using a framework that I studied that already exists, and I try to use language and descriptions of what I feel the other person will be receptive to. Luckily with graphics and AI technology coming along, when I don’t know how to describe something I see, I can create a reference. When I go in to receive the information, I use the Library analogy. When you go to the library to do research, you have a topic or thesis for your paper, but before you start the research process, you don’t actually know what kind of reference material the library has available for the needs for your paper. You may have an inkling what sources may show up, but until you call up the article or reference material and when it arrives, and you read it all to see if it makes sense for your research, you don’t really know what you will find. You may have to go back and refine your search or keywords, and you can call up more relevant reference material. So the Akashic Records: it’s actually a discovery process, or shall I say, a self-discovery process. As an Akashic Records Reader, I feel my role is similar to the librarian - I collect your keywords, and help you input it into the system, and help you interpret what materials you call up from the library. The Librarian has general knowledge of topics and how to find it, but ultimately it’s up to you what you do with the information that comes through to decipher it and see if it’s relevant to your research topic. Just remember this is YOUR soul records, this is YOUR research. I’m here helping you get the information you requested from your guides, that will assist you in your soul journey at this point and time.
The only information that comes up is supposed to be the most relevant information for you right now, based on the keywords you asked me to input. All other information is not relevant, and it won’t show up in your search results.
Without getting into the specifics, I did a reading where I wasn’t really sure what the incident was, but in my process of dowsing, it revealed that there was a significant event in the client’s early childhood without any details given to me, but only after a year has elapsed, the client had gotten back to me and told me what that was all about. There was a specific reason the person’s Akashic Records Gate Keeper revealed it to me, but sometimes it’s not for me to know, but for you to discover. I’m just your friendly cosmic librarian, trying to help you tap into your Sovereignty, tap into your Soul’s Destiny. That’s all.
So in a nutshell, as long as you can keep an open mind about what you receive, even if it’s occasionally a little cryptic, getting an Akashic Records Reading is for you, too.
My second point is about Sovereignty. I know I may sound like a broken record by now but you are Sovereign - you have complete autonomy over your experience. You get to choose your own adventure.
From Ancient Greek Philosophers to modern Psychologists and scientists, we are trying to answer this question do you “Know Thyself” - I see people spend thousands and thousands of dollars going on amazing spiritual retreats and adventures or a plant medicine retreat. Hey - you know, good for them. They are investing in themselves. But all of this - whether it’s self-help masterclasses, going to a therapist, going to events or experiencing plant medicine, it boils down to: do you “Know Thyself” can you remember yourself? That’s really everyone’s goal here if you think about it. Do you know who you are, do you know why you are here, do you know how you got here, do you know what you set out to do?
So your Guides may not tell you straight up sometimes right away, because that will interfere with your sovereignty. So the second thing you have to understand is, you have to trust that your Guides have your best interest in mind. However, what you can control is knowing what kinds of questions to ask, and how to ask them. This process may depend on the reader you work with and how they like to perform the reading. The practitioner will guide you to make sure you are asking the right questions.
I hope this video/blog demystifies what the Akashic Records are like, and what are some of the things you can certainly expect when you are receiving a reading.
